Job Overview

UNDP Zambia is hiring a Project Manager – IGU Sustainable Resettlement to lead a major development initiative focused on improving living conditions for displaced communities. The role involves strategic planning, partnership management, and overseeing infrastructure projects in resettlement areas.

Key Responsibilities

Lead project planning, budgeting, and execution.

Ensure project activities align with Zambia’s national development goals and UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Oversee financial and operational management, ensuring compliance with UNDP policies.

Build and maintain strategic partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, and stakeholders.

Monitor and report on project progress, including financial and impact assessments.

Promote gender equality, youth empowerment, and climate-resilient development.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Master’s degree (5+ years experience) or Bachelor’s degree (7+ years experience) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, or related fields.

Experience: Proven track record in project management, development programs, or humanitarian initiatives.

Skills: Strong leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement skills.
