Key Role Overview
As the Global Subsidiaries Lead based in Lusaka, you will:
– Drive corporate banking strategy and revenue growth across Zambia
– Manage high-value multinational client relationships in the Zambian market
– Lead corporate banking operations and team development in Lusaka
– Oversee banking partnerships across Southern Africa
– Specialize in mining sector banking and international trade finance
Essential Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Development
– Develop and execute corporate banking strategy for Zambia
– Build relationships with C-suite executives of multinational companies
– Drive banking revenue growth in key sectors including mining and infrastructure
– Manage international banking corridors between Zambia, China, and Europe
– Lead corporate client acquisition in the Zambian market
Banking Operations & Risk Management
– Oversee corporate lending and transaction banking services
– Manage credit risk assessment for Zambian corporate clients
– Ensure regulatory compliance in Zambian banking operations
– Direct corporate banking team in Lusaka office
– Develop banking solutions for multinational companies in Zambia
Required Qualifications
Education
– Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, or related field
– Minimum 5 O-level credits including English and Mathematics
– Professional banking certifications advantageous
Experience
– 10+ years banking experience in Zambia or Southern Africa
– 5+ years direct corporate relationship management
– Proven track record in corporate banking leadership
– Experience in Zambian mining sector banking preferred
– International banking experience valuable
