Job Purpose

As the IT Infrastructure Program Leader, you will lead the planning and execution of IT and digital infrastructure projects. This role involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and ongoing project maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement tailored IT project management strategies aligned with business objectives.

Establish project governance frameworks for consistency across IT and digital teams.

Lead stage reviews to monitor project health, progress, and outcomes.

Manage project lifecycles to achieve cost, time, and quality goals.

Apply best practices like Agile/Scrum methodologies for project delivery.

Facilitate team coordination through daily stand-ups or Scrum meetings.

Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Oversee change control processes to maintain project adaptability.

Collaborate with stakeholders to meet customer expectations and contractual obligations.

Provide regular updates on project milestones, risks, and benefits.

Mentor and supervise project management teams to foster professional growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field.

A Master’s degree is an added advantage.

Professional certifications like Scrum Master, PMP, or Prince 2 are required.

Membership with ICTAZ or EIZ is preferred.

Experience

A minimum of 7 years in IT project management.

Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Lead or in similar roles.

Expertise in IT infrastructure or digital transformation projects.

Behavioural Traits

Capability to work under pressure in deadline-driven environments.
