Key Responsibilities

Project Management

Design and lead early-stage and advanced exploration programs, including drilling and geochemical projects.

Supervise contractors, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and security standards.

Conduct geological logging, mapping, and soil sampling using industry-standard tools.

Manage data collection, reporting, and collaboration with analytical laboratories.

Oversee field camp operations and exploration budgeting.

Health and Safety

Drive safety leadership and adherence to FQM health and safety policies.

Lead risk assessments and incident investigations.

Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)

Engage with stakeholders, including landowners and community groups, ensuring sustainable exploration practices.

Manage community feedback channels and government reporting.

Data Stewardship

Ensure high-quality geological data collection and compliance with database systems.

Training and Development

Upskill junior geologists, technicians, and other team members.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Geology or a related field.

Minimum 4 years of industry experience.

Proficiency in geological software (Mapinfo, QGIS, ioGAS, Leapfrog Geo).

Experience with sedimentary basins, metamorphic rocks, and sediment-hosted minerals.

Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to work in the field.
