Key Responsibilities

As an Operation Field Coach at our Kalumbila mining operations, you will:

Training and Development
– Design and implement comprehensive training programs for mining operations personnel
– Conduct on-site coaching sessions focusing on mining equipment operation and safety protocols
– Develop curriculum and training materials aligned with mining industry standards
– Evaluate training effectiveness and maintain detailed progress reports

Operational Support
– Guide mining supervisors in optimizing daily operations
– Ensure compliance with mining safety regulations and FQM standards
– Participate in mining incident investigations and implement corrective actions
– Support drilling and blasting operations with technical expertise

Leadership and Collaboration
– Mentor mining teams to enhance operational excellence

Qualifications and Requirements

Education
– Degree in Mining Engineering or related field
– Full Grade 12 Certificate
– ZAQA-certified teaching methodology certification
– Valid blasting license (advantageous)

Experience
– Minimum 5 years in mining operations supervision
– 2+ years in training or coaching roles within mining
– Proven experience with mining software (MineSight, Surpac)
– Comprehensive understanding of Zambian mining regulations

Skills
– Expert knowledge of mining processes and equipment
