Key Responsibilities

Assist or lead network installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and regional network support activities.

Design and develop infrastructure network systems for a stable and robust environment.

Create bills of materials and recommend solutions for new and existing network installations.

Liaise with vendors to ensure compliance with FQM standards and procedures.

Maintain up-to-date network documentation for consistency and quality.

Implement processes for problem management, change management, and performance monitoring.

Conduct wireless site surveys for Point-to-Point links and LAN implementations, including working at heights.

Test, install, and terminate fibre optic cables while keeping documentation current.

Provide on-call support for network infrastructure and ensure compliance with ICT standards.

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum 5 years’ experience in network systems, structured cabling, and network design/documentation.

Proficiency in Cisco networking and Ubiquiti Unifi AP and Air Fibre systems.

Expertise in diagnosing IPv4 issues and testing copper and fibre optic cables.

Certifications: N+ and CCNA (required), FOA Certified (preferred).

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent (preferred).

Valid driving license and ICTAZ membership required.
