Role Purpose

The CAD Designer will focus on delivering designs and special projects for the Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) and large Water Dams, ensuring compliance with GISTM standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain accurate 3D models of TSF and water dams.

Produce high-quality drawings, including concept, detailed, IFC, and As-Built designs.

Create and update tailings deposition and decant management plans.

Monitor TSF freeboard, beach length, and Rate of Rise, and report findings.

Collaborate with engineers and survey teams to source input data.

Ensure data accuracy in designs and manage files logically.

Support engineers in project development and TSF storage planning.

Prepare reports and documentation collaboratively with the team.

Skills and Expertise

2–5 years of civil design experience, preferably in mining.

Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent (highly regarded).

Proficiency in civil design software (AutoCAD, Civil3D).

Familiarity with MUK3D, QGIS, and ArcInfo (an advantage).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.

Teamwork and communication skills to achieve company objectives.

Eagerness to grow in civil design within the mining industry.
