Key Responsibilities

Project Management

Design and implement early to advanced exploration programs.

Conduct geological logging, mapping, and soil sampling.

Synthesize exploration data and produce reports using industry-standard software.

Liaise with analytical labs to ensure timely sampling results.

Manage multiple projects, budgets, and field camp operations.

Health and Safety

Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with FQM health and safety standards.

Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations.

Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)

Engage stakeholders, including landowners and community groups, to ensure sustainable exploration practices.

Manage feedback channels and government compliance reporting.

Data Stewardship

Ensure high-quality geological data collection and validate data for database systems.

Monitor assay results, QC flags, and batch dispatches.

Training and Development

Mentor junior geological staff and provide technical training in geological methods and software.

Required Qualifications

BSc or MSc in Geology or a related field.

Minimum 8 years of industry experience in geology or exploration.

Expertise in sediment-hosted copper, geological software (Mapinfo, ioGAS, Leapfrog Geo), and GIS platforms (QGIS/ArcGIS).

Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to work in the field.
