Job Overview

As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will oversee invoice processing, ensure accurate payments to suppliers, and maintain compliance with accounting standards. This role demands attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Process invoices daily, ensuring proper authorization and accuracy.

Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Handle supplier inquiries and maintain accurate payment records.

Support month-end reporting and other accounting projects.

Ensure timely invoice posting and maintain organized documentation.

Qualifications and Skills

Diploma or degree in Accounting or related field (e.g., CA Zambia, ACCA, or ZICA).

Member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).

3+ years of experience in accounts payable.

Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Pronto ERP is an advantage.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
