Key Responsibilities

Safely operate light vehicles to transport employees and visitors, including VIPs, to destinations such as Kalumbila Airport.

Perform pre-start checks and maintain detailed trip logs.

Ensure vehicles are roadworthy and report any issues to supervisors or the workshop.

Provide ad hoc transport for late shifts, emergencies, or special requests.

Maintain cleanliness and readiness of assigned vehicles.

Assist passengers courteously and maintain professional interactions.

Monitor vehicle safety systems and respond to warnings promptly.

Adhere to Zambian traffic rules and workplace road safety procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

Education: Full Grade 12 Certificate.

Experience:

At least 2 years of driving experience in a similar role.

Familiarity with fleet management operations.

Licenses and Certifications:

Valid driver’s license (minimum 5 years driving experience).

Defensive driving certification (advantageous).

Knowledge of basic first aid and vehicle maintenance procedures.

Attributes:

Strong navigation skills and geographical knowledge of Zambia.

Excellent time management and communication skills.

Physical fitness and ability to handle long hours.
