Emergency Response Duties

– Lead mine rescue operations and emergency response at Lumwana Copper Mine
– Provide fire fighting and hazmat emergency services
– Conduct rope rescue and confined space rescue operations
– Deliver ambulance and medical emergency services
– Maintain emergency response equipment and vehicles
– Perform vehicle rescue and extraction operations
– Support mine safety initiatives and emergency preparedness

Required Qualifications

– Grade 12 Certificate with strong academic record
– 2+ years mine rescue experience in Zambian mining industry
– Valid Mine Emergency Response certification
– Fire Fighting and Rescue Operations certification
– Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) qualification
– Valid Zambian Class C driver’s license
– Computer literate (MS Office)
– Mine safety training certificates

Technical Skills Required

– Mine rescue and emergency response protocols
– Fire fighting and fire prevention systems
– Rope rescue and height safety operations
– Hazardous materials handling and response
– Confined space rescue techniques
– Vehicle extraction and accident response
– Basic Life Support and First Aid
