Job Purpose

The Manager: Treasury Management & Trading will oversee treasury execution, investment functions, and liquidity management. This role involves managing funding, credit risks, and financial market activities to optimize the bank’s balance sheet.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage local and foreign currency funding strategies.

Oversee treasury execution services, trade execution, and risk management.

Ensure compliance with liquidity and regulatory requirements.

Optimize investment portfolios and maximize returns within risk guidelines.

Collaborate with corporate and retail banking teams for financial planning.

Monitor and report key financial metrics, market trends, and funding strategies.

Drive strategies for treasury management in Zambia and enhance the money market.

Ensure compliance with Bank of Zambia liquidity and reserve requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field.

Extensive experience in treasury management, financial markets, and investment strategies.

Strong understanding of central bank regulations and financial risk management.

Proven ability to manage funding portfolios and enhance liquidity strategies.
