Zanaco Bank, a leading financial institution in Zambia, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Product Sales Head to lead our retail sales teams in Lusaka.

About the Role:

As the Retail Product Sales Head, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the performance of our retail sales units, including Workforce Banking, Auto and Mortgage Products, Bancassurance, Women’s Banking, and Alternate Banking. Your primary goal will be to deliver sustainable growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and achieve our strategic and financial targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive growth and profitability across our retail product portfolio.
Team Management: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve their objectives.
Product Development: Collaborate with product development teams to introduce innovative retail products and services that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Sales Performance: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure achievement of targets.
Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with customers and partners to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant banking regulations and compliance standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in retail banking, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of retail banking products, processes, and regulations.
