Job Summary

Kansanshi Mining Plc, a First Quantum Minerals company, seeks a Planning Clerk to join our Smelter Engineering Department. This role supports maintenance planning activities and manages crucial engineering data systems.

Main Duties

1. Manage the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system:
– Create, print, and close work orders
– Process work requests and approvals
– Generate picking slips and purchase requisitions

2. Documentation management:
– Update maintenance manual indexes
– File and organize technical documents
– Manage the technical library

3. Reporting:
– Prepare daily and monthly maintenance reports
– Update production statistics
– Track work order backlogs

4. General office support:
– Assist planners with system queries
– Perform document binding and photocopying
– Handle general administrative tasks

Required Qualifications

– Grade 12 School Certificate
– Typing speed of 35 words per minute
– Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
– Prior office and data entry experience
