Job Purpose

As an Assistant Storesperson, you will be responsible for managing stock records, ensuring accurate inventory control, and maintaining proper storage conditions. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations at our Solwezi site.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records of store receipts and issues.

Keep stock at required levels and submit reconciled counts monthly.

Organize materials in designated storage areas.

Update stock management systems daily.

Conduct physical stock checks and report variances.

Ensure store security, orderliness, and cleanliness.

Issue gate passes for materials and coordinate transport.

Oversee contractor labor assigned to stores.

Report vehicle and plant status weekly.

Adhere to safety standards for material handling.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Certificate in Stores Management or related field.

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in stores management.

Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams.
