Job Description

As an Advanced Artisan, you will perform mechanical maintenance, breakdown repairs, and planned tasks for the Trucks Fleet at Sentinel Mine. You will focus on reliability, continuous improvement, and optimal maintenance practices to maximize production.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure Trucks meet world-class availability and reliability standards.

Oversee mechanical maintenance of all pit and Mobile Maintenance Workshop equipment.

Maintain high standards in health, safety, and environmental policies.

Analyze breakdowns and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.

Perform preventive maintenance tasks as per daily, weekly, and monthly schedules.

Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and OEMs to execute planned maintenance.

Troubleshoot and replace components such as power modules, transmissions, and cylinders.

Qualifications and Experience

Grade 12 Certificate with 5 O-Levels.

Craft Certificate from a recognized institution.

Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance of heavy mining equipment.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and lubrication systems.

Valid Silicosis certificate and driver’s license.
